Default Basics Using Mixer in FL Studio

So this is gonna be a basic, semi-in depth tutorial on how to use your mixer in FL Studio....

if ya need any clarification on this, just post a reply, i'll try and get to as soon as possible....

Click on your kick(or whatever instrument you are putting into mixer), and in the upper right hand corner of the window that pops up is where you assign it to a channel in your mixer....by default the kick is in spot one in the mixer, but you can move it to whatever spot you want......

then what you wanna do is open the mixer window....click on track one (or wherever your instrument is) in the mixer....then on the right hand side of the mixer window is where you assign all your effects.....

click on the drop windows on the left side of the mixer and a bunch of effects should pop up....

what you are gonna wanna do is select a 6 band equalizer.....it should be something like fruity parametric......

you are gonna wanna pull out all or most of the highs out....the frequencies for that are anything 250 and above, so you can go ahead and pull the sliders all or most of the way down to your liking.....

the frequencies you want to remain are like 60, 90, and maybe 110....

by default the frequencies are gonna be 90, 250, and 500

you can change them with the knobs underneath each number.....

once you get the right frequencies you want go ahead and raise the sliders up a bit until you hear that bang you are looking for.....

you can do this with any instrument you want....you just have to know which frequencies to take out of the mix and which ones to raise....

the easiest way to find which frquencies you need to work with is to get a spectral analyzer, put it on the same track you are equalizing....that will show you which frequencies are active.....

i personally have the waves mercury bundle, which has tons of different VST effects to mix your stuff with, including some nice equalizers, compressors, an analyzer, and much much more....

so before going any further trying to mix, i would definitely pick up the mercury waves bundle....

    here is the link....

    http://www.crazypellas.net/plugins-1...5-0-air-46079/

install that, then once installed properly, which isnt hard, but if you dont already have it, you are gonna wanna get damn nfo viewer from here....

DAMN NFO Viewer Download - Softpedia

that way you can read the nfo file on how to install not just this file, but a lot of others that come with .nfo files.....cuz some can be complicated.....

then in FL Studio, you are gonna wanna open the mixer window and go to where you would select your effect, but click on more, then click on fast refresh, you will see an assload of new effects, click all of them to make them active......

now you have an analyzer and you will be able to see where each frequency is....

if this helped ya out please gimme some thanks and rep.....

The waves mercury complete is more better and updated it has presets. Alot of ppl are confused because its 1.0 and the other is 5.0, but their 2 completely different air releases. I was gonna edit your post with the link but its your call. Heres the link http://www.crazypellas.net/plugins-1...1-0-air-46186/
