Do you have an Input/Output console? I use the Presonus Audiobox USB, for example. It has 2 XLR inputs.

When you plug in your mic, arm the track for record, and choose which input to use... 2 dots signifies stereo, 1 dot for mono. This is all on the left side where the track info is. If you don't hear anything, hit the "monitor" button next to the "record" button (the icon looks like a speaker with soundwaves coming out).

Beyond that, if you're not getting a signal from the XLR, you might have to go into settings...

Use the "control panel" next to your "Audio Device" (mine says Audiobox USB ASIO driver). There, you can choose how your I/O box is routed, and this should make Studio One recognize all your inputs.

Hope this helps at all. Don't forget... Presonus has excellent customer service, so don't be shy to ask them directly!

I got it working eventually but theres only audio coming from it on the left side and it crackles beyond belief and is delayed which im assuming is latency but i can't bring the buffer size any higher..
