Stretch (BEAT MAKING) RETIRED

Just to let people I deal with on CP know...I've decided to retire from making music. I continue to visit the CP site as much as I can and give feedback. I really appreciated all the feedback and suggestions that were given.

Lately I found myself with no music on my mind and forcing myself to make a track...I have no inspiration or desire to continue to make music...hopefully this doesn't happen to any of my homies here on CP.

Are you for real. No you got to be fucking with us yeah you have so much skills why give up i know it maybe hard times but why wast all that talent. Thanks Sherbit and Mafioso...but yes I've retired! as for me coming back...anything is possible, but I wouldn't hold my breath It would take someone close to me with the ideal situation for me to begin making music again...seriously! As with anything...if you're not enjoying what you're doing why do it?

Sorry your feeling like this. When I get like this, with a mind block, almost like i want extreme silence, when the computer fan is just too loud. I find myself turning to classical and opera music. If that doesn't work for you, try some Southern Calipso (sp?) or SoCa music. "Tripping on the pavement" is a good one. a lot of other stuff that is good too. but that one is my favorite right now. Always inspiring.

try listening to some new genres or some of your favourite oldies . that usually helps me when im feeling like i dont know what type of track to produce... also you might just need some new people to work with.. anyways all the best homie!!!

Damn .. sad to see someone have to go. A break might be all you need though man. I've gotten into funks with shit too .. even your passion can get tiring if your non-stop doing it 24/7. Take a few months and evaluate if you really are satisfied with never making music again or if you want to try it again. Either way I hope your around as often as you always been.

Yo Lethal thanks for the kind words and suggestion my dude. The last time I packed my music equipment up it took 15 years to bring it back out. I think this time I'm done, but like I said before you never know I might get inspired. After hearing this new song being played on the radio from Nicki Minaj by the hook I think it's called (Stupid Hoe) it seems like I've stopped just in time!!!

Oh and I'm still here on CP checking out people's production and given as much feedback as possible.

Would you mind doing an interview Desimnyc? About why you've retired and what first got you started in the first place etc.
