Hey everyone!

Hey guys,

I'm new here and I'm an up-and-coming producer with nothing but a laptop and FL Studio 8 XXL Producers. But I have been trying to learn as much as possible.

I think I have an ear for producing, and I have done some really good beats from what I have learned so far. I am 17 years old, and I plan on going to school for Audio courses, ect.

Any help that can be given to me about expanding my skill (I have used warbeats.com, but it can be confusing, since there is SO MUCH to learn) would be greatly appreciated. there is so much to learn, and I dont know how to "attack" the problem.

any help would be amazing =)

'lo and welcome. This is a good place to learn, but the BEST way to get a handle on producing is hook up with an established dj/producer that knows his shit. I have the distinct fortune to count DJ Bobby Volume from Rochester, NY among my close friends and I learn more sitting down with him for an hour than I could learn in 40 hours of school. Seriously, you can't beat hands-on training with a master of the craft. Hope to see you 'round the forums.

Thats what i need to find. I need to find someone to sit and learn with. I'm goin to a studio with a boy of mine to lay down a couple tracks (I rap too) but I'm going to talk to his producer about sittin down with him a couple days a week.
