This time he got popped around my area, in miami.

DMX was arrested Monday on a warrant for not having a valid driver's license, Miami-Dade police say.

Earl Simmons aka DMX, 37, was being held at Miami's Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Monday afternoon. His bond is set at $500.

DMX can’t seem to stay on the straight and narrow.

After a string of arrests, the rapper was busted once more in Miami on Friday (June 27) for reportedly trying to buy cocaine and marijuana, according to TMZ. X (real name: Earl Simmons) was just arrested on Monday for driving without a valid driver’s license.

In May, the MC was arrested for speeding after being caught on camera going 114 mph. Just days after that, he was busted on animal-cruelty and drug-possession charges after detectives raided his Arizona home; he pleaded not guilty to the 11 charges on May 16.

The real question after hearing his rap sheet is, how is he still free? We’ll keep you up to date if X runs into any more trouble.

Arrest Warrant Issued for DMX

A Phoenix judge issued an arrest warrant for DMX today after the Yonkers rapper failed to appear in court for a pretrial hearing related to his drug charges case.

According to a press release by the Maricopa County Superior Court, in addition to the arrest warrant DMX's bond has been raised to $25,000. The public defender representing X, Charles Kozelka, did not give a reason for the rapper's non-appearance. However, it has been speculated that X has checked himself into a rehabilitation facility.

DMX is being charged with one count of marijuana possession and four counts of drug paraphernalia possession in connection with his May arrest. He is also due back in court August 19 for animal cruelty/drug possession charges, and on August 26 for charges that he allegedly gave false identification to an Arizona clinic after receiving treatment.

Police in Miami, Florida arrested and handcuffed the Yonkers-bred artist as he attempted to leave an area Wal-Mart. DMX was reportedly trying to surrender to police through negotiations with his lawyer. The Miami police apprehended him before those talks could come to fruition.
