Swagger like us: Theories

So “Swagger Like Us” has been officially removed from T.I.’s Paper Trail album. Why? Nobody knows, but we all know that song was one of the big buzz joints. There are some theories.


1) Jay, Kanye and Lil Wayne protested that T.I. secretly bodied them on the song like LL did Canibus on that song.


2) M.I.A. has come out of retirement, I hear. I think she wants her Swagger back…


3) R.Kelly, who appears on the album, protested Jay-Z and got it taken off.


4) Lyrically, that song just wasn’t it, with the exception of T.I.

Jay's verse was mediocre.

i gotta agree with sample clearance, i highly doubt it will be removed cuz Lyrically it wasnt hot, when alot of the music coming out these days arnt that lyrically hot.

I honestly just think that's not the direction T.I.P. going with this one. On the real, T.I. went,but that wasn't the one to go in on. I still think Ye bodied that shit. Isn't it the same sample as the M.I.A. joint too? Who knows. Its not on the album none the less.

T.I. Killed It...Hands Down and wayne claims 2 be the best rapper alive and he had the worst verse in my opinion.....but i think its the sample clearance and its goin 2 be on blueprint 3 so its going to be on an album regardless

song is ass in my opinion from the beat to the lyrics (t.i. did shit on em tho) prolly the worst song on what would have been the album if released. glad he took it off. wayne is far from the best rapper alive he pretty much lost his lyrical ability somewhere around dedication 2/I can't feel my face mixtapes

i dont' think it was sample clearance, i think that was recorded and made to sound like a sample because i don't know what song says NO ONE ON THE CORNER HAS SWAGGER LIKE US, besides that song.

Ima get mad jumped on this...but I dont even know if I heard this track yet...

Might know it if I heard it...


If I had to guess Id prolly go with sample clearance too....
