I've notivced that DIV overlays are in different positions on different monitor sizes. Is there a way to have it in 1 place no matter wat the monitor size?

what do you mean by overlay?

the best way to get something to stay in the same place for different screen resolutions is using percentages

By overlay, i mean like on myspace u gotta use an overlay to cover up everything on a profile, its just a white picture basicly. Can u give me an example of a code I shuld use that will make it be in the same place on different resolutions?

o yeah.... i don't do myspace layouts....

example (untested)
Code:
.overlay {
background: #000 url('../images/background.gif');
width: 90%;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
the box would be centered with a width of 90% on all screen resolutions, if u resize ur browser the box would resize to continually be 90% width of the window size....

thinking about it now, that probably isn't what ur wanting...
