First off this isn't your thread, second the title of the thread is "Twitter - I need your thoughts..", keywords there being 'your thoughts'. So people in here can dislike it all they want along with their reasons why they think that way.

and Ef I noticed u use power twitter, how is that different than normal twitter?

im a twitta holic i use power twitter tweet deck and from my phones here are da differences

power twitter is a firefox ad on and all it does is make it so you can see the pictures people post without clicking them and tha youtube videos are embeded and it also connects wit ya facebook so you can update face book and twitter at tha same time and you can upload pics on twitpic directly without going to another site and it is easier to shortin url links

Tweet dek is like you can see all of twitter in sections ya replies ya direct messages and ya updates all on da same screen and it makes a sound errytime someone tweets so you dont miss nothin i normally use em at tha same time lol

and it probly aint far off the truth sayin that twitters popularity is mainly down to middle aged people with no social lives who want to think that people care about them... it might work for businesses to tell people bout sales and shit but apart from that its useless imo. celebs are on there cuz they're on every remotely popular site, but the chances that they manage their own pages is slim to none

u know celebs/musicians think "hmm..if i get more personal with my fans...they might support me more or whatever" and whatever so they post updates or wahtever so ppl feel more close to them..and its like..a competition now on twitter...ashton kutcher juss got a millie followers or soemthing..
