wont work for me neither, but thats cause im at work, and all media players are disabled from our IT dude,,, I can get around that, but im supposed to be working lol

they really building this up since the movie doesnt come out for almost a year, but yea it is gon be venom in this one and it looks like it'll be another classic

Nope. Venom won't be in this one. I'm 100% sure.

Well, he won't TOTALLY be in this one. The way the story goes, Spiderman has to have the symbiote suit first and hold on to it for a while while fighting Hobgoblin and Sandman. After a while, the suit tries to take his mind over and eventually he has to rid himself of the suit. In the cartoon, I remember it went something like, he has to go to this tower with this gigantic bell. Because one of the suit's weaknesses is extremely loud noises. The other being fire. Anyways, he goes up there and I can't remember exactly what happens in the tower but he eventually gets it off and it finds its way to Eddie Brock who is on the verge of suicide because he had lost his job, was suffering from cancer, and if i'm not mistaken, lost his girlfriend too.

So, long story short, if Venom is in this one, he won't be THE Venom until the very end. You'll mostly see Eddie Brock as himself throughout most of the movie. Then he'll probably gain the suit in the last 5-10 minutes. There's no possible way they can fit Venom into this movie with the amount of story they must include for Sandman AND Hobgoblin AND Spiderman having the suit first.

Look forward to Spiderman 4 (and Venom!) Summer 2009/2010

EDIT: Here's a link to where you can find a shitload of backstory and some totally unnecessary but quite interesting facts about Venom. Like, I read some of this shit, and I never knew that Eddie Brock isn't Venom anymore. The new comics out now have the Scorpion as the new Venom. Damn, I ain't read comics in a minute. And just how many other fuckers did the suit bond to? Holy Fuck! Wolverine, Goblin, Scorpion, Punisher. The list goes on and on.

Haha! Actually I watched the cartoon more back when it came on when I was like 10. I haven't read a comic book since then but Venom was always a personal fav of mine. So I'm looking forward to seeing him hopefully in Spiderman 4 (and if i'm wrong, Spiderman 3).

Once I heard Spiderman was gonna have the suit in 3, I started reading some shit on that Wikipedia link. Just to refresh the memory.

yeah me too, i dont know how i know that much of the story w/o reading the comic. maybe cause i played the game on playstation 1. venoms my favortie marvel character. i actually thought he was gonna be the main villain in this movie but i guess not


now that part 4's gonna have venom, i hope that it has carnage also

well spider-man is supposed 2 fight hobgoblin who im guessing is gonna b greengoblins son the way the last movie ended, and sandman isnt really a good villian..lol, he kinda sucks, BUT in the cartoon after he fights venom comes carnage, which is my favorite villian, they have to have a movie with carnage after this one
