there is no such program that seperates the vocal and the beat.
u can take the vocal from a track by taking the original track and the instrumental and inverting the instrumental and playing them together , the inverted part will "take out" the beat.
same for the instrumental but then use the vocal.

This is possible through some stereo inversion and cancellation but its a long process that doesn't always for.
For the inversion meathod you need the instrumental of the song your trying to get the vocal of, its a bit of a pain.

i saw a vid that showed the inversion method working perfectly. i've tried doing the same thing with atleast 5 different tracks, and can never get the instrumental to cancel out. if any of yall got this method down, help me out.

yeah, i've been trying to do it with some of my singles, you know, the ones that cme with just the song and the instrumental and sometimes the hook too, i still don't get why they bother puttiing the stupid hook on there. anyways, how do i make them waveforms exactly the same. they already got the same pattern, it's just that the peaks seem to be higher on one than the other... is there a plugin that'll do it for me?

its complicated the best way to get hard to find acapellas is to jus buy the vynil...it will save you the issues and stress of searching and trying to make a acapella that comes out sounding distorted anyway..
beats are easier to come across tho..instrumentals are really easy to get and if they haven't hit tha net quiet yet then looping beats is second nature to me its easy as pie...cp's thing will help u if your hell bent on it but if your a dj foreal and u really make blends you should jus buy tha record

^ how do you get the track and beat exactly the same? i can line them up right, so there's no echoing with the beat, but the peaks are always higher on one, so the beat can still be heard in the background. it's sounds almost like when i tried using the gain knobs and make the vocal sound higher than the beat.
as for buying records, it's a good idea, but i'm cheap. also, i don't got a working record player and most of the pellas i want don't come in acapella form. they'll press a 7'' with just the song and the instrumental.
if i can get this method to work, i'd probably get more than 4 times the pellas i have now, plus i have alot of rare ones. so i think it'd be worth my time to try and learn how to make it work.

You have to find one that is exactly the same.

If anyone here is extremely good at EQ, and has the exact acapella or instrumental, you can do it with about 3 hours of work for each one but it will be far from studio quality.
