Modern Beats Filin' Law suits, is it true?

I was at this site called -------------.com, it's kind of like Crazypellas, but no one is active, but I digress. It was a ----- sayin' that Modern Beats can find there samples in a song, find out who it's registered to, and if you ain't the one its registered to, they'll sue you. Has anyone else heard about this shit? And if so, is it true? Because if it is that's real, real, real, messed up.

The only way they would be able to find their samples in songs/beats would be if they listened to every beat/song.

So I doubt it is true unless they are going to go on every music/producer site and listen to the music to see if their sample is used...

How in the hell is this even possible? All the kits they have out, how would they know a sample is theirs? How would they find out who it's registered to? You could say you snagged the kits from a homeboy who bought them. Or you used his comp and made some beats.

I don't see how you could get hit with any kind of suit from them. Only way possible is those dumb fucks who use complete loops in their beats and don't chop them or nothing.

like ^^^ siad they cant prove that you didnt make a beat on someone else's comp, and to check every beat and everything and sue everyone who used them, adn run their investigation they would lose money in the long run

all thatshit everyone skips on those websites that says please read...if you sit down and read them most of them say that these samples are not to be used for sale or duplication. Mean it is illegal for you to go to modernbeats.com buy samples make beats then turn around and sale them.

If you fuck with music like that you can tell what is yours and oviously this came about when they herd something they did. Who knows how they came across this idea of someone usin they stuff but if they got some proof its theirs and the people the accused dont have any proof that they didn't it can be troubbbbble...

^^^most packs are made for making beats the only thing u can't do with it is make another kit out of it .

It would be much to hard to detect there exact packs, what after compression and eq's, cant see how they could get there original shitty pack sound anyways

they tell you this in the email confirmation after you buy one of their packs... they also make you call them from a landline so they can manually give you the unlock code, only after they call your credit card company and confirm name, address and Telephone.... i thought this was a little extreme, but like we are with are music... they with there samples

That's why I EQmy shit like a muthafucka. The stuff I download/buy is just a base model, to hold the place of a drum shot in a beat, then in the mix I'll EQ everything not even close to the original. Weather this is true or not yall should get into the habit of it, way to often do I hear the MB sounds in beats while surfing soundclick.

If it's true then their probably going to fuck with people for a while then forget about it, look at what the RIAA did, they were coming after motherfuckers left and right trying to sue everybody but in the end it diddent go like they planed.
Besides, cant you use the shit legaly as long as your not using it for profit?
