you need a dvd ripper, there's a few on this site labDV - Software Database - DVD copying

i use DVD Decrypter and DVD shrink but they've stopped development on DVD Decrypter and it will only rip older dvds, newer ones usually wont work with it but there are others that will.

yeah, i use dvd decryptor and dvd shrink too.. the new version of decryptor is dvd fab platinum, it doesn't work exactly the same, but i think it's by the same people... i got both, but still prefer using decryptor

i haven't had any movies not work with decryptor though... i found that some sony dvds have a seperate copy protection code on the menu from the movie. decryptor will only crack one, so what you can do is rip the movie, then rip the rest, then put both pieces together so it'd be whole again. i think i had to do this for hitch, madagascar and cellular.
