my current computer 'fell' off a truck.. so i'm not to up to date on what's good when getting a new computer.. the last time i checked, athlon was good, geforce was good, is that right 2gb of ram? and 2 more free spots to add more? lol, i only got 256mb right now...
what you gonna use it for? it looks like it would be good for gaming.. whatever it is it'll probably do it real fast..

i know the processor isn't the fastest but it is the 2second fastest
yeah it would be good for gaming but the video card isn't that good but it can handle most games, it's a "above average" card
yeah 2 gig ( 2 times 1 gig) so it can divide it under the 2 so it is faster.
but i'm gonna mod my computer!!! it's gonna look really cool when it's done

your computer doesn't have to look cool.. it just has to work good..
oh, i was wrong... i got an athlon xp 2600+, 2.13ghz, 512mb of ram [not 256 like i said before]. it cost me $500 with a burner, 160gb hard drive and the extra stuff, like mouse and keyboard... i still got both brand new in the wrappings cause i never had a black mouse or keyboard, plus the mouse isn't optical like the one i'm using now... mines going a few years now though...

i think the ghz is the speed of your processor... the 3.0 processor would be faster, but since you got the dual core thing i'd guess that it would multi task alot better...
lol, back in the day i had an athlon 600mhz and modded it with a pencil so it would run at 800mhz... i had the cheapest motherboard that i could get [cause i was pretty much broke those days] and it fried in under 2 years

it looks like a pretty decent setup to me, but I personally wouldn't choose AMD's, not that there is anything wrong with AMD's I just preffer Intel's Quote: |

Sorry. When it comes to comp hardware, I'm not that savvy. I mean, I know what RAM and Processors and all that shit are. But I can't tell you what's "bad" or "good". | |
