Wait there a few artist who should calm down on sampling songs like Paul Wall and Dyke Jones, seriously almost every song I have heard from them they bite off Fat Pat or Hawk or anyone. I love sample but samplin to much is just a s bad as stealing lyrics in my opinion

way i see it is .. when you sample .. you branch off other peoples ideas and make it your own .. but when you take lyrics from another song and say it EXACTLY the same way .. it's biting .. unless you paying homage which a LOT of rappers do . but i can see what jon ren is saying , though i disagree and say sampling is an art which is practiced by many ..

Cool to see at least someone understands what Im sayin, although they dont agree. Thats whats cool about opinions....you can have your own.


I jus find it extremely hypocritical that we have all these "hardcore" hip hop people on here that everday talk about originality but are completely ok with stealing or "borrowing" other peoples music.


Yea sampling music is making it your own in the end....BUT the idea stemmed from someone else. How original is that?
