    Default NOOB DJ Question

I'm interested in getting a deck but uses cds instead
but i want the kind that you can scratch
my question is if its the same set up as a regular turn table deck cuz the sites i go on they sell the cd players in singles like this:
I was wondering if you can still hook up a mixer too it ,so i can get 2 decks?

yo there are such things as cd tables, they work just like real tables, they can plug into mixers and everything, except instead of putting vinyl on it you just put a cd in and select the track

    EDIT:

here is a cd table i recommend:

Numark CDX CD Player with Vinyl Scratch from zZounds.com

it has a vinyl plate so it has that vinyl "feel" when youre scratching

the advantages of a cd table are pretty damn obvious, anything you want you can burn to cd. but traditional vinyl with the diamond tip sounds way better and more grimey than cd (in my opinion)

the cd tables have a more digital sound

    no problem, anything else?

oh yeah and once you try out a vinyl table i think youll never wanna use a cd one again

the cd one is great to start with but with the vinyl you feel authentic as shit.
