Default Is it worth to be a member of a DJ pool?

Hey Guys! Does anyone here knows what good does being a member to a DJ pool brings? I am really anxious whether there's really a need for me to do so. Your advice is pretty much appreciated. Thanks! ;)

    Hey Kristina,

To decide if it's worth it for you to join a DJ pool you need to think of the reasons why you are joining it.

I have been part of several DJ pools. It depends on what genre of music you are looking for.

But I can tell you I prefer DJ pools over downloading illegally from other sites. Prices vary from different pools but if your making money from your craft, why not put some money towards purchasing your music legally? You get high quality music (usually 320kbps), tracks are properly named in the ID3 tags, none of this "Artist_Name_-_Song_Name_(long_ass_blog_url_here).mp3" nonsense. And some DJ pools even set up intro cue points for you already saved within the track to make it that much easier on you.

DJ pools I have been a part of are :

    Cicana - Urban Hip-hop/rap genre
DJ City - Hip-hop/top40/pop/edm/instumentals/acapellas - all around genres
Club Killers - Hip-hop/top40/pop/edm/instumentals/acapellas - all around genres
    Beat Legend - EDM -house/electro/trap/moombahton/dubstep

They all have their pros and cons. If your looking for all around genres I'd say Dj City and Clubkillers are your the ones you should check out. They're about the same, they both have their own exclusives and own edits they do of tracks, just a preference on which you like better.

    Thanks for chiming in Excrucial.

I've only been part of Cicana and Digiwaxx both of which are hip hop/rap/pop/rnb.
Cicana was $15 a month I think and Digiwaxx is free... you just need to give them details of where you DJ.

We've got the music promo section here where new music gets shared too.

This so cool Excrucial! Yup! 100% agree - prefer DJ pools over downloading illegally from other sites. Ever heard about zipDJ? Some of friends in FB recommends this site too. Any feedbacks?

Sorry, never heard of them, there really is 100's of DJ Pools out there to choose from. You just have to check them out and see which looks best for what you're looking for, or if you're on a budget, check which you feel you can get the most bang for your buck.

Just checked the zipDJ website - haha love that they are offering a free tour for first time registrants. I will give it a GO and see what happens. This forum is really amazing because I am learning from it. Thanks so much Crazy Pellas

If your a regular dj who needs to stay on top of there music... .. then yes it it wise to join a dj pool. I'm currently a part of Djcity & Bpm supreme... Just left mymp3pool.com... there are plenty out there.... Choose wisely... Djcity BpmSupreme Zipdj seem to be the best ones out there in my opinion... I will give franchise a try once i get tired of the pools im in now... Good luck choosing... Post some mixes once your music is on point!!!
