DJ Of Tha Month - how and why?

Dear memebers of CP family!
I took the thing a month ago, just because i wanted to da that, wanted to help to continue this polling, cuz last one was in 2008 or at the middle 2009!
I made my first poll, nobody liked it!
Ok!
Today i created new one, my selection of the members accorded to 2 things-people who posted more stuff than other members, and people who got more positive feedbacks.
I added 6 persons, just checked them by last post in their thread.
In reality, no more than 3-5 persons posted a stuff during the February.
1 track for each of them = 3-5 tracks.
That's approxiamate numbers.
let's say 10 tracks - 5 of them with positive 5 with negative feedbacks.
People won't vote to a guy who made 5 tracks and all of them are shit, nothing intresting and good. off pellas etc.
People will vote for a guy who posted 5 tracks and got 10 positive feedbacks for each of them.
Anyways.
I just need to know, what conditions i need to use in selection of nominatuses!

Who's wanna give some ideas?

My thoughts on this is.. i think we can't do it this way.. If anybody have bomb azz tracks but not get enough attention for it that doesn't mean he don't deserve to be in the poll.. for example: snybone had this michael jackson reggae mix last month and i would have nominate him just for this single track, If i could nominate a canidate for DJ of the Month..just for example!

I added 6 persons, just checked them by last post in their thread.

the date of the first post should be determining here!

About 1 track for each of them = 3-5 tracks.
it was about if 3 or 5 persons dropped one track each, that means that total value of tha tracks 3 or 5, depens on how many members dropped tha tracks!

i can agree with all that, but what about the ones that post that hot track, BUT never gives feedback to their counterparts. should they be nominated? I'd put a remix up once a week if it wasnt for the people who post, but dont give feed lol. Dont get me wrong, i do know i got my peeps who check my threads, but it sucks when your shit gets bumped down that way, nameen?

Another way is to nominate ppl who posted track more than other members and won't care about positive or negative feedbacks!
So if you posted 3 tracks you'll nominated, if i posted 1 track...i won't.
I think that its right that if you posted 1 track and got no feedback on your track you won't be nominated if you posted 3 tracks and got or didn't get an feedbacks you'll!
Anyways we need to choice something one just because i can't make any new polling with new ruls of nomanting.
Probably will be much better to make a poll for choising the rules of selecting!
What do you guys think about it?

i think they shouldn't be nominated if they're posting mixes but not giving detailed feedback on other threads..just to get their talent points to post music on the Talent forums...am i wrong with that?

all people who post their remixes/blends regularly with a lil rep' and a good count of feedbacks on other peoples threads should be in the poll

Thats exactly how i feel. You feel like you've wasted your time posting when all that happens is you get bumped down..

alternatively this is about the people right? have you not thought to have a nomination post every month for a few days .. if the people have good credentials (non-leacher, decent rep, etc) put them in give the next week to voting

I have a pretty interesting idea on how to change up the presentation of DJ of the Month or "Any" of the Month, for that matter, could work for all categories. Although it will take some actual dedication from the person running it.

My idea is to go through all the tracks posted in the month, download the absolute best ones from the members posted and make a 1min to 1:30 mp3 clip of their best work.

This way the voters have a rough idea of what was submitted and what they really like best instead of trying to remember who actually had dope tracks.

Be honest, how many voters actually go searching for members previously posted tracks to cast their vote? Odds are they vote for someone they recognize makes hits and don't really recall much of the tracks they heard.
