I found a way to burn the time code into a dvd for use in serato....when you add video on top of the time code you can literely scratch whatever video you want...Serato is the shit

i use serato. it help me alot. I carry less equipment when i use it, cuz all of my music is on my lacie then to my lap top. but it can spoil the dj. i sumtimes got to un hook it to match the bpm's on my own

Use serato still. Wuz neva big one at it first when it came out but it very big. I loved my vinyl but now at my finger tips makes easier still. Had to get it. Everything is digitalk now a dayz.

Only thing I don't like right now is that because of serato everyone thinks they are a dj. They don't understand people use to go to record stores for hours to find music and learn about music.

THink serato can make a bad dj good but make a good dj that much better.

I go abroad every summer to dj, and it saves so much hassle/money not carrying around record boxes

i would have to disagree.

i know vinyl (i've only been on cd turntables twice) but all of my music is on cd. so i would have to buy my cd collection all over again on vinyl in order to dj. so serato is a good way to still use vinyl with my current cd collection (it's been ripped to my pc as mp3's).
