Default fl or vdj for mixing? - 31-05-2009, 11:24 PM

My friend just hooked me up with virtual dj. him and a few others have been telling me i should use that for mixing rather than using fl studio (which i use right now). Can someone hit me up with the benefits of using one over the other?

Virtual Dj is for like making remixies/Blends,Screwed & Chopped or if you wanna make full fledge song by song mixes. It pretty much has the benefit of 2 turntables or 2 cdj players but all crammed in a interface.Goes well with a Midi setup.Fl studio is for making like Beats, remixes and other good stuff for soundbytes if you like sampling.

Vdj is pretty easy once you get use to it.But if you like a challenge then traktor is great, because it enables you to use 4 virtual tables.

Np,hit me up if you need help.It can be a lil complicated for the new eye,but within all you'll enjoy it.It goes well in combination with Fl to be honest.I Use both programs within my production.

I'm pretty sure you mean Deckadance when you say FLstudio.... If you really want to dj Vdj (or ssl) if your just doing little mixes here and there and/or just laptop mixing, either will do the trick.

I personally prefer VDJ. I think you come out with a cleaner product in the end. I have messed with traktor and it can get a lil complicated. Anyways i just recetly got the VDJ 6 if intresed PM me with you email address and I got you

Fl Studio is way better than virtual dj because you can make your own music and you have many options of sounds and genres you wanna make. virtual dj i'm not so sure about that but i think fl is way better than virtual dj. fl studio comes with deckdance which is for turntables if you have them. but i think fl studio is way advanced that vdj
