I can understand how some musicians feel about bloggers who leak music before their release dates. This is because most labels don't currently have a system in place for implementing bloggers with the release of music.

Since I can remember, people have been making money by selling music on to people on tangible surfaces like records, 8-tracks, cassettes, and cd-r in some cases. Now that the cloud is taking over, some record label owners are finding it more and more difficult to remain among the first to discover new songs. Musicians are taking control of the business, and people are freaking out because of it.

Bloggers need to work with labels to insure the success and wise use of music. We should be getting paid for the online promotional work we do for record business and artists. However, most of us blog about the music we like because we like it... Artist and producers are misleading themselves if they think they can makes it in the business without help or assistance from labels, recording studios, promo teams, and others.

Anyway, leave a comment and let me know what you think CP. How do you feel about the musician take over?
