Marketing and promo is the most costly and time consuming process of music busieness. Without it, no one knows who you are or what your selling. Websites alone cost over $400 and web hosting is about $200 every 4 years. Battle winners get a free website that can be turn into an online store for fans. Do you have fans to sell to? If so, how do they buy from you? Do they buy from you or are you're a hobbyist who gives music away for free?

CP has also added their premium membership to the prize list which normally cost $40, not to mention all of the frequently read blog article that will be written about the winner. Unless you have a promo team that can reach +80,000 music fans, winners will benefit greatly from this competition. Don't enter if you music sucks though, forum members won't allow you to win.

aha, some ones a lil sensitive. any body could battle with writen lyrics, and putting a topic on a battle...smh.
if you gone battle either get the whole shabang and video that shit....other than that theese battle gone be like every other song saying how lil a or lil b the best. if you battle some one you better be rippen they ass too, straight personal shit that make you wanna fight..but you do it wt lyrics.

Nah, I just assumed you didn't understand the purpose of Battle 4 Exposure <= I underlined the keyword so you can get it. It's not called Battle 4 a free video, lol. Maybe you should make one... Battle 4 Exposure is for artists who want to expand their reach to new audiences. The purpose is to help hip hop artists build a life long business for themselves, with their music. It's a online competition for songwriters and lyricist, and not so much for freestyle battle rappers; although, they can enter too if they like. This is for people who are ready to take the careers to the next level.

Thanks for wishing us luck, although, we don't need much of that. We've been holding this competition for months now, and will continue to do so. You're free to believe what you want; the fact is, artists need these services in order to reach people who can take them to the next level.

I'm the guy that helps music makers to start their business and earn money online, among other things.

My online focus isn't on selling beats, at the moment. It's on helping producers and artists who don't understand the business. Also, this competition is about the song, not the beat. You're obviously new to the game; otherwise, you'd realize the prizes in this contest are literal money makers. Find more professional artist to collab with so you can get your experience level up. After that, come see me and I'll teach you the ropes of the business so you can start making some money.

And here's some constructive criticism, use less compression on your vocals and cut the claps by 3-5 dB around 9-10k on "Dat Good Good" so the vocals have more room to breath. You'll notice the vocals will sound fuller, as they should.

I can't believe JTeZee had the nerve to say some shit like that. Seems like this is an awesome opportunity for all of the rappers out there. If there was one for producers I'd certainly join. Some people just don't see opportunity when it's right in front of them I guess. Much respect to JC for puttin this on.
