Whats a great preamp? I really need help here.

I have decided on buying the Audio Technica AT2020 Mic. However I need a great preamp with 48v phantom power and that records clear and smooth as hell. What do you suggest? I dont wanna spend over 100 on it. I have integrated audio on my laptop if that matters. So I dunno how its gonna connect to the computer.

That firewire M-Audio 410 is cool for starters...that what Im going to buy first...also good clever microphone placement and your Engineering Know How...is very important than having a expensive Pre Amp....

So just get something decent...and elevate your mixing skills

since i doubt that u don't know much about what you're doing, i suggest u don't get a m-audio preamp, yes they are great but can get costly and u might need a new soundcard too, all u need is phantom power to run that mic, so i suggest a tube mp it's what i run and i have one of if not the best sound quality on here
