Vocals Topping On "S" Sounds

does anybody here know how to fix that, i've tried 2 different de-essers one being the one in adobe audition, and one being in waves diamond bundle, and still i get a that high pitched "S" sound when i say something with a "S" in it

i know where it's coming from, it's the equilizer i use but the if i don't use that one then i feel my vocals sound very dull, so if i anyone knows how to soften the "S" sound please respond

hmmmm...you could always edit the sounds manually like go in to each one and fade it in more and or lower the volume of it.

yea but that is so time consuming i think i fixed the problem today though, thanks anyways woods

i always use an EQ with many bars and try to find the one for the "S" and lower it...

used a de-esser and played with the settings

you simply need to buy a pop filter it will take care of the problem

no it wont lolol, a pop filter will deaden it a little when it's recording, but it was caused by my equilizer not the actual recording, before u try to answer my problem (which i solved) could u please read the problem at hand
