recording a track question

sup peeps

whats the best way to record a finished track in fl 6 ? is that 32bit float better than the 16bit.. also when i recorded a track in fl and compare it with the track playing live in fl, i notice a loss of crisp, especially the hi hats..

i need to record em tracks at the crib and then go to the studio for the emcee to lay the vocals...

can anyone advice me on the best way to do this without losing quality on the sound... i use fl6 and adobe..
