NEED some advice about voice recording !!!!!

GUYZ i need some aqdvice about my problem i want to record a voice in my pc i already used a fl studio , audition v3, sony forge 9.0 but still im having a problem regarding my voice i record its because i hear a little distortion on my headphones im using an A4tech headphones with microphones and i already hooked up with a creative sound card audigy 7.1

what else you could advice from me with my problem its just because its my first time to record a voice with a sample instrumental beats

you might be breathin into it too you got a pop filter?

That mic you got probably cant handle spl too well. I would upgrade to at least a hand held dynamic mic with some sort of preamp. And a real audio soundcard would not hurt either.
