These are the three things aside from the snap pop fuzzy wired into my mic i use to get crispy sound quality on my tracks.

Aside from the program that u use to record your mic is the second half of the importance. Also your quality could be fucked due to your soundcard also so make sure your soundcard is efficent before trying to record music through a microphone.

I have a high grade no noise filter cable plugged into the bottom of my mic and I have a adaptor that i plug onto that so that I can plug it into my PC. Not all mics come with the noise canceling wire you may have to buy it seprate. Adaports are only 3 to 4 bucks at a radio shack and I have a coby mic that is only about 9 bucks. The wires run between 10 to 12 dollars so if your intrested in getting good sound and not spending your whole life savings on a mic here is something you can try.

And also ACID PRO IS NOT A GOOD PROGRAM TO RECORD MUSIC ON IF YOU ARE A SINGER OR A RAPPER THEN RECORD USING ADOBE AUDTION PROTOOLS OR A OLDER COOL EDIT. ACID PRO IS FOR MAKING BEATS AND IF YOUR NOT RECORDING THROUGH A MIDI CHANCES ARE IT WILL SOUND LIKE SHIT IF NOT USED CORRECTLY.

the adaptor is jus a little peice that u plug on the buttom of the cord so that the plug could be plugged in a regular sized hole on the back of a PC or if you have DJ headphones it can be used the same way. And you can google the type of mic it is it is called a Coby CM-P35

what you mean? Acid Pro is a great program to record in, other than Pro Tools and Cubase, one of the best ones out there, yeah you can use it to make beats, but Cubase and ProTools are also used to make beats

adobe auditon is the best thing to record on othere that protools

The problem with acid is you can do punches and stuff. I do like how you can add effects to your tracks in acid though with out altering the orignal wave. You can't do that in Cool Edit.


By the way, I have a 50 mic from best buy, the M-Audio box that was like 70$, a 10$ pop filter. I get a pretty good sound (except I sure could use a compressor), and now all I have to do is figure out how to mix it.
