(mics) Rode Nt2-a Vs. Mxl V69

IM DEBATIN' WHICH OF THESE MICS I SHOULD GET, I REALLY WISH I COULD HEAR A TRACK RECORDED' OFF EITHER OF THESE MICS SO I CAN JUDGE FOR MYSELF WHOSE HAS THE BETTA MIC.....

I MEAN FROM WAT I BEEN RESEARCHIN', THEY SAY DA MXL V69($299) IS A REALLY GOOD VOCAL MIC....HERE'S THE MXL V69 BEING USED ON RAP CITY IN THE BASEMENT

So rite now that mic is in the lead, but i heard the rode nt2a is a dead quiet mic for only $400 and its vocal quality is comparable to the Neumman U 87($2,999)

So yea Im stuck, Please leave me a suggestion because my budget is only $500 and im lookin for the best mic, I also heard C1 studio Projects are pretty decent too......

You have to consider this as well... you need a pre amp!!!!!! Pre amps completely change the way a mic can sound!!! I have a rode nt 1a and i like it..... but then again i got it for $100......

IMO, i think that it's hard to judge what mic u want jus my hearin people usin it cuz some people mix it in a way u prolly couldnt replicate exactly and they might have extra equipment adding better quality to the mic

the rode isnt the best for vocals alone

go for the MXL, no doubt

and get you the MXL mic mate USB phantom powered adaptor for $50
