mic problem

i dont kno if its my mic or wat but wenever i record it onli records to tha left channel.never tha right.no matter wat program i use.adobe audition to cool edit pro 2.1 to cubase.is it my mic or wat.or shulde i juss get a pre amp? im gettin one aniways tho

if its doin it in all tha programs then its not your computer...its tha connection from tha mic to tha computer. and if u need a mic preamp, then u must b using a condenser mic and im not sure how its connected in da first place id u dont have a preamp or mixer

i had that with a earlier mic i used to, i just mono'ed the channel cuz the mic was internal bad connected if u use

in adobe audition just select the file and click "Convert Sample Type [F11]"

and then select mono
