mic picking up sounds from the computer

i was trying to record into acid 6 and then audition but the same thing happens...
the mic pics up a glichy version of the instrumental im tryna rap to.
i know its not the headphones cuz i tryed recordin without them (nothin changed), then i tried turnin the volume of the instrumental WAY down (nothin changed).
Can someone please healp me!!!!!

turn down the volume on your pc down just enofe then make sure your mic volume is up

go get sum good headphones

try this cuz the same thing happened to me.. like it recorded all the sounds my computer made..

Go into the windows mixer, get into the recording mixer, and check the stereo mix mute box.. it will only pick up wut ur mic picks up now.

really the best thing I think would be to buy a cheap mix board with mic inputs and line inputs then record yourself over the beat like that

I never like to use the mic input on my soundcard cuz its always noisy to me

if you get a mix board then everything will go through the line in on your soundcard and trust me it will sound waayyy better that way
