Check this out,
Can N E 1 give me an opinion on a good laptop for running Pro tools 7.4? I'm bouttoinvest in a laptpfor strictly recording purposes. I would hate to buy 1 and run across a bunch of incompatibilities. Thanks ahead.

macbook pro def recomendation but youll have to break the bank on that one, if not most desktop replacement laptops will do fine provided at least 3 gigs ram and decent processor

yeah Leathal Illness is right 3 gb of ram is good, also make sure u have alot of hard drive space anything from 200gb and up is good. pro tool session will take up alot of ur hard drive space. an external HD for ur sessions is good too.
