Adobe Audition Files

I DL the new Adobe Audition 3, an when i save files they save as .pk and nothing can play it back, any1 know how to change this so i can play the files on windows media player??

your always gonna have pk files and other types.....make sure you save it as .mp3 or .wav

when you save it go up and down da file extension menu.......

^^^ He Is Right, You Should Always have Them....As Well As Ur Wav File Or Your MP3 File.

What happens exactly is that Adobe Audition by the time you import or create an audio file within Audition it creates a peak file that has the extension *.pk (That comes from the analysis that Audition does to each file before the import) as you said.You just have then to export your work (everything that you have done on your mixdown) to a file, that is mp3, wav or any other audio file type.
