Default Young Ef - Hurricane Katrina (Flood The Club) *CTZfinest Mixtape Coming Soon*

So yeah my boy K Dot Streets just got him a lil distribution deal with a little mom and pop publishin group called From Cracks To Spitten and they started out as a magazine for unsigned talent around CT now they are trying their hand in the music business.

What they do is play for all of the CD's the jackets the studio time and in return take 20% of what he makes off top and charge him extra for little shit they may provide like services for shows shit like that its kinda in the air right now cause they are just starting but they did pay 3,000 in advange for production and equipment so its feeling official

Me and him got our hands on this fire ass Clinton Sparks Mixtape then the idea just sparked me and him are going to gather some of the hottest people in CT to bless the mixtape and do a Industry Vs the Underground type mixtape and what he is going to do is have us do tracks on industry beats but remix it on da mixtape blend the orginal tracks into one of the beats he bought or made the idea is still very raw but so far we got some tracks bubblin

Anywho that brings me to my track We came up with the concept after me being harrased about the fact i never go deeper with my bars and i always scratch the surface and i dont come with no aggresive music (kinda had a hurt meeting today musically) and he basically said that if i wanted to be on tha tape that i had to offer something a lot more stronger and powerful something that he can remember so he challenged me to come up with a CT type anthem so after 2 blunts a 40 i came up with the whole flood the club thing then tha rest just melted in so i hope yall feelin it cause i got first submissions saturday before he decides if we gonna go in da studio wit it

Aight....here are my thoughts and oppinions..........the vocals or da instrumental didnt fit the mood 4 it......in that other tracked called (Iorn Maiden (Remix) you completely wet off on.....

this was sadly not as hard....and i know u gonna hate me 4 this but ........it just seemed like you were trying madd hard and not letting the track take its course..and granted i aint a mc..and i'll never be 1.....but i am a 10 year vet of da dj scene...and 2 me if i didnt have fun....it showed.....
i know i probably aint helping...but just try and relax a bit and come @ it like you did in that (Iorn maiden remix)..as 4 da hook....try and sound less relaxed on it....say it like u mean it...

    Douces....

Its Great Working With You Cuz I Know All Da Tracks Will Come Out Great~Dj Excrucial.~

well honestly i was trying i was trying to make the best out of a once in a lifetime experience. I mean i had to take it seriously. That iorn maiden joint i was feelin cocky like im tha best can't nobody tell me shit

but today me and K dot had a meeting where he played 40 of my songs one by one and broke down my whole style my flow my delivery my lyrical content my concepts my whole style and basically told me i need to dig within and pull somethin out that i neva did in music and i dont no if i acomplished what he lookin for but this song has a different feel then anything i have ever done it feels like a hit record something that is mad catchy and wit some tweaking in areas then it would be a hit

    thanks for peepin tho

i heard better stuff from u ef
at some parts it sounds like ur mumbling on purpose
on the chorus, u should put some effects on it..
and its kinda hard to hear ur verses...
    i think its ur mic

I can tell because the vocal quality of your mic is better because of the XLR but the sound is still not there thank god i have a studio for you to remaster your work in. You know how I do Mo Im going to break down your whole song before I tell you what I think. First of all i hope you aint flood the net with this this is exclusive.

Verses: Your lyrical content is exactly what im looking for you stepped it up a lot on this one you took it to a place i knew you could go but the only thing i ask you to do is have stronger fillers towards the end of the first verse sounds like you were running out of bars or you were getting anxious and im inclined to belive you were just anxious because the second verse started of HARD ASS HELL that little break down at the beginning was good the second verse like all of your tracks is my fave i think i have found your problem it seems like when you first start a song you don't no what to do with it and by the time you have your first verse and your hook you have established your direction so your second verse comes out better always you should have your direction before you even start writing Mo that is one of your biggest problems.

Format: IM SO PROUD OF YOU! when we had that talk yesterday and you left i wasn't sure what you were going to take from it if you were going to take anything at all but this I do no you can format a record like the best of us who ever tought you song format did a good job and if you tought yourself pat yourself on the back..You flowed into your verses perfectly the bridge the hook then verses perfect most underground rappers don't no how to use a instrumental to make a song because you guys haven't realize the difference between SONGS and TRACKS

Hook: I like that fuck makin it rain we hurricane katrina, flood the club shit im feelin that because u did what i said u came up with something that your target audience can fuck with and i like your concept we aint trickin we robbin classic. So what im going to do is we going to chop it up a lil make your voice sound more powerful and imma have you try to deliver it differently cause right now it sounds like you know that hook foward backwards and sideways so you deliver it with the swag like "this is tha shit listen to what im sayin" but when u sayin it it has a mumble sound instead of a confident sound..good hook tho

Basically i give this track a 6 based on the fact you listened. Its still not ready for the mixtape and im glad you finished so early so we can chop it up when you get off work friday and have it done by Saturday Night come over we will talk but this is good so when u check ya e-mail in da mornin don't have a fucked up day cause i did like what you did. One thousand
That is his reply to tha song and that is tha kinda replies i wish i got here...he wasn't saying it was extra hot but he told me what he liked and didn't like and now i honestly see the areas i can improve so further replies please state actual facts from the song...im trying to get me 10 Gs for this lol

this is a nice trak but....
like everyone has sed its hard to follow ur flow, and wen u have to concentrate to here wat u sayin it becomes less enjoyable to listen to, u also miss alot musically.
the othr thing i would say is... to me ur "i love hip hop" trak is top of the heap easy, coz its straight from ur heart, i dont no how u live but robbing and guns and all this negative stuff is a huge turn off for me personally.
like i sed tho, if thats wat u relate to im sure it effects u differently,
i think this is a great trak but not ur best.
    keep at it.

i didnt like the beat at first but once i heard u spittin u made me feel it do to the lyrics
i mean u goin in lyrically i'd just work on the delivery ...on someparts u rushin a lil bit might be because u got too many words in a bar...cause they sound mushed together like mumbling
    but good musik overall famron

    sombody gettin roooobbed hahah
