    Are there any aututune alernitives around...
    That anyone knows about...
    I've heard about vocoder...voice tweeker...
    But they don't really kick...
    Does anyone know anything that comes close to it...
    I have a mac by the way...

    Choose watz best for you. go by UR PC and capabilties of it.
    Go wit Auto EVO VST for MAC. Harmony engine has auto tune also, but that shit got glitches. Let me know if this was helpful?

    Cool, but it's a bit expensive.. and its more for fixing pitches, not that T-Pain effect...

    ive heard people work magic with fl studios vocoder as well .. its included in fl studio which you can get for cheap these days

    You need to have a good egineer who can eq and do the vocal correction on it. Depends on where you record. Or look for a free version.

    I might need to use some method of tweaking my voice in the future. I want my recording to sound fresh and alive. These are some good referrals. Thanks.

    Melodyne is the sound of todays records. People aka the general public has steered away from the sound of live performances and has fallen in love with perfect pitch.
