Sound Card and Speakers suggestions

I've never had a problem with my card in the last year and a half. They make good stuff. Nice choice on the speakers.

I've changed my Graphics Card choice to 640MB Asus 8800GTS, for the support of DirectX 10, for the sound card i've been looking at X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro Series, still not 100% decided yet tho...

I ordered the Case, Motherboard, CPU and Memory a few days ago, hopefully it'll come tomorrow

Cyber Acustics speakers have worked good for me

I've got the Logitech X-530 speakers. I got them at Wal-Mart for like $80 and then saw them a week later on Newegg for less than $50 shipped!

I've used them for about three years now. Not sure about gaming, but with music, I can use these speakers beetter than some people can use their $1,200 monitor setups, because I know what to listen for.



But yeah. get 'em, they're great.

I went for Logitech Z-5500's and have been pretty impressed with them with both music and gaming.. and I've just been using onboard sound, so not bought a soundcard (yet?)

Sound cards, ...I've always liked E-MU. For ym laptop I have the E-MU 1616 Cardbus system.
