Playstation3 vs Xbox360

So i was thinking of getting one of these next gen consoles, should i wait for a ps3??? I ask you guys....

seriously, i need to know ps3 prices and release date, cant find that info anywhere

well i heard the ps3 is gonna release this november, and the prices are gonna be from 499$ (minimum requirments), and 599$ for the full system, with 60gb hdd. So the ps3 looks pretty cool, with that much space i can do alot, but the xbox306 has a hdd too. This is really a hard descision. Guess i gotta wait till the ps3 comes out.

i'mma get a ps3, just my preference , a xbox360 will be good to probably but i just prefer a ps3, i think ps3 will have better stuff cuz they saw what xbox360 did wrong and stuff. btw the price will drop after 2 to 3 months , i'm pretty sure of that.

I guess i should wait for a ps3, they were successful with the ps2 with all those games that came out and still are comming soon.

just don't buy it when it's just released, wait like a month, then the bugs (that didn't found when testing it) will be out and the price probably dropped

personally i dont care about either. i buy the games b4 i buy the unit so if one has a game that isnt on the other and i want to play it. im getting that one.

isnt it better to buy the unit along with the game?

i am leaning towards the ps3 because the low-end one which is i think 500 soemthing CDN has a bigger HDD (30 Gigs compared to the Full 360's 20 gig) and 7 player wireless connectivity (compared to 360's four player) also, if you are looking to invest in a next gen media player (blu-ray or HD DVD) the core PS3 has a built in blu ray player while 360's HD DVD will be an add-on drive. But it really depends on the games. GTA4 is a 360 exlusive..gears of war, and Halo 3 are all sure to be best sellers, and these titles are definately going to help microsoft move consoles. And the ps3 already has Final Fantasy XIII announced as an exclusive along with the contraversial KillZone2 and Metal Gear solid 4. So the best thing to do...is jus wait...maybe till next holiday season and then see ...what interests you , what is good. Also the price will drop majorly and maybe you can get both

also...anybody interested in the Nintendo Wii?

the nintendo wii looks alright, but im not looking in on buying one. The controller is simple except for the sensor at the top. Plus i dont like any games that are comming out for the wii. I noe that most of the games on the xbox 360 and ps3 wont make it too the nintendo because it would be so much of a hassle to get the controls to the right feel, unless they have a new controller as an addon for the wii.

what do you mean by exlusive? There coming out at the same time i hear. I also heard that gta 4 would be on xbox live? Now that would be sick...

They have a normal controller for the Wii..and also, the Wii has Slots for GameCube controller...


Its only gonna be for Xbox 360, it was confirmed at E3 2006. As for it being online... it could happen....
