Want a perfect Demo? Well forget that it is called a demo tape and make sure you put it on a CD. Buy the most exspensive CDs they sale to make sure your disc wont skip or scratch easily.

If you are a producer you want to include 5 beats

1. A up beat party fast beat..this should be possibly the third or second selection
2. A gangsta beat with heavy snares crazy strings pianos just something dark
3. A R&B beat

four and five are optional you want to show that you can produce anything and you have range. Make sure that you have a professional looking cover for your CD so it doest look like some home made bullshit. Make your beats maybe 2 minutes long and dont loop!

it will help if you got a hot rapper rhyming on a hook or something to show that you make beats for people

If you are a rapper same thing show range on your song. Dont just rap about gangsta shit, or partyin or ya car rap about it all. Show you are a deep thinker, show u party show all your sides dont be one tracked, and mos def display any writing skills you have

shy away from the songs that take you too long to start rapping on or take too long to end..none of those long intros on tha beats or spending minutes talkin they turn it off..pick songs where u kinda jump right in and your energy is up songs that show your best rapping

If your a Dj, make remixes! dont jus blend some shit together or do a lil scratchin that aint gonna work

scraching helps because its a lost art but dont do too much let tha blend play..dont scream on da mic you aint kay slay

and it really helps if you produce so you can make real remixes and do a lot of parties djs need resumes if anything else. Have a hot rapper that you got on call because djs are lables ears to tha street
