Default Home Recording - 26-01-2008, 02:56 PM

ok ive been recording from home for a few years just gettin the basics of recording and mixing and all down.Now i will b gettin a mxl 990 mic soon and i was wonderin what some advice is on programs to use to record edit mix and everything.

Audition 2~i wouldnt recommend 3 cuz its more complex so 2 wouldd deff be a great tool 4u

you can also mix on there its alot harder then virtual dj tho, but....if you master audition you can pretty much mess with any other audio app

if you're gettin and mxl 990 (hopefully you're getting the set, and hopefully you're getting it from Guitar Center becuz if you ask for free cables there's an 80 percent chance they won't tell you no). the best way i know is to get an m-box mini. it comes with protools LE 7 and extra plugins. or if you have already bought an m-audio interface then buy protools m-powered they are both the same thing just different prices. i don't remember the list price but if you get an interface and a mic at the same time. TALK THEM DOWN. good shoppers never pay full price. but to get more detailed help ask the person you're buying from. becuz there are different programs that are better than others depending on what genre of music you're in to...
